Tim plays and loves Weber mandolins: currently, an original Bitterroot (with the mahogany back) and a custom Hyalite mandocello. He's also played a Bridger octave mandolin, and Aspen #2 flat mandolin.
Tim and Laurie use Elixir strings and Tim truly digs the nanowebs for mandolin.
Tim and Laurie use L. R. Baggs pickups and electronics in live performance for rich, natural tone: currently, the violin and viola are geared up with Baggs violin pickups, and Para DIs are our preamp of choice for every instrument we play.
