Salida this Saturday. Then Kansas City. Then Chicago!

Just a quick reminder of the good things to come. You will find them to be good in a personal way if you get up and come experience them.

Salida, CO >>>

This Saturday, we’ll be at Bongo Billy’s Salida Cafe in Salida, Colorado. The forecast is for nice weather and refreshment to your soul, with partly rocking acoustic music. There is a chance of showers of emo tears, because our very creative and sensible-to-current-musical-trends friend David Wilton, who is aboyandhiskite will be joining us on the corner stage between the brick wall and the window. He’ll be playing great songs he wrote. You’ll be like, “what style is that?” and someone will be like, “I don’t know but I must live by it forever.”

Enough words. Actually, here are some more words, but ones that have less emotional language, in case you are not in touch with your inner child.

Kansas City >>>

Then, the next weekend we’ll be in Kansas City. We’re doing a house concert, and have some free time left. If you want to find out about hosting a small gathering or having us visit your fellowship, email us at theblackthornproject@gmail.com.

Chicago area>>>

By April 2nd we’ll have arrived in the Chicago area, where we’ll be presenting in chapel for the students at Wheaton College! Then we’ll play a concert in the Wheaton College Coffeehouse. We’re also doing some worship stuff for a couple of gatherings in Janesville, Wisconsin (a state that I confuse with Michigan).

If you are in the preceding areas or know someone who is, why not pop by our calendar and grab some details for yourself or your loved one. They will feel more loved if you connect them with some good people and wonderful music.

Hey, I’ve been trying to get some of Kiteboy’s music ever since the house concert at the Vilgiates last May (when he opened for y’all). Any news? I’d buy a CD or an MP3 or whatever.

Joel, thanks for your last post, by the way. I really appreciated your bravery for putting that up there. It’s so good to know the music does something good for you.

I’ll ask Dave to contact you. I’m sure he’d be happy to send you something.
